Asked about the CD-7 race at a press conference today, Florida's Republican governor "made clear he does not support Cory Mills," as Florida Politics put it. The Washington Post's headline was simpler: DeSantis says he doesn't support Republican Rep. Cory Mills in Tuesday's primary.
The night before early voting hit its final stretch, President Trump posted a full slate of Florida re-endorsements — every incumbent Republican member of Congress on next week's ballot. Cory Mills was the only one left off the list, "amid investigations," as Florida's Voice reported. Reporters covering Florida politics noticed immediately.
